Greece on Foot is an interesting team. They are a small group of walkers who love Arcadia. But that is not all… The group consists of a living community of farmers working as locals did for centuries; picking olives and carobs, tending their animals & walking the mountains with their donkeys & mules.
Their routes are graded from easy, through moderate, to challenging. Their terrain covers seaside paths to mountain peaks and everything in between. They aim to balance effort with enjoyment and safety with adventure. They arrange itineraries to suit your interests and abilities.
Here are the three options they offer.
- A weekly itinerary of walks based from a small family hotel on Tyros seafront and their walks are within a 90minute drive of the hotel. This is fully inclusive of hotel, meals and transport plus guide and assistance for the hikes.
- They also offer a weekend option of one full day hike and one half day. This includes 2 nights hotel bed and breakfast and 2 taverna meals.
- Finally they offer an Arcadian Journey which is a 3 day trek with 2 nights stay with local families or using monastery rooms. This stretches from the sea at Kiparissi to Megali Tourla at Kastanitsa.
The 3rd option can be made part of the 1st option.
It sounds very promising, isn’t it? Peloponnese and especially the area of Arkadia are places of great beauty. Feel free to contact them through their contact data below.
